WIlson Receives All-Summit League Honors

MESA, Ariz. – Weber State's Matthew Wilson received multiple honors on Friday as the Summit League released its All-Conference lists ahead of the league championship tournament at Longbow Golf Club. A vote of the League's 11 head coaches determined the all-league first and second teams, the honorable mention squad, and the all-freshman team, which is a new award for the 2025 campaign.
Wilson received All-Summit League Honorable Mention honors and was named to the league's All-Freshman team for his stellar play in his first year with the Wildcats out of Nanaimo, BC, Canada.
Wilson has posted a stroke average of 73.96 across nine tournaments and has recorded nine rounds of even par of better. He posted three top-10 finishes, including a pair of sixth place finishes and a career-best third place at the Bill Cullum Invitational. He was named the Summit League Golfer of the Week twice during the season.
