Wildcat Softball heading to Oregon Regional

Weber State will matchup against Oregon Friday, May 16 at 5:30 p.m. MT.
OGDEN -Â The Weber State softball team learned its next destination during the 2025 NCAA Softball Selection Show held on Sunday, May 11. The Wildcats will head to the Oregon Regional as the No. 4 seed, where they will face No. 16-ranked Oregon on Friday, May 16 at 5:30 p.m. MT on ESPN+. Also competing in the double-elimination bracket are Stanford and Binghamton.
The matchup against the Binghamton Bearcats will mark the first meeting between the two programs. Meanwhile, Weber State will face Stanford for the sixth time and Oregon for the eighth time — and the second time this season. In February, the Wildcats fell to the Ducks 9-1 in six innings at the Littlewood Classic in Tempe, Arizona.
This marks the fifth NCAA Tournament appearance for Weber State, with previous trips in 2015, 2016, 2019, and 2022.
