More improvements in final regular season meet

Weber State will next compete at the Big Sky Championships May 14-17 in Sacramento.
In the final regular season meet of the year, the Weber State women's track and field team picked up some victories and had more improvements at the BYU Robison Invitational in Provo.
It was the final meet before the Big Sky Championships, which will be May 14-17 in Sacramento.
On the track and in the field events in Provo, the 'Cats had many seasonal best performances.
WSU's 4x400 meter relay team of Makayla Oliver (Vacaville, CA/Vacaville), Charlotte Wilkinson (Layton, UT/Northridge), Jasmine Devers, Eliza Smith, had a seasonal best time of 3:49.61 in the event, which is currently sixth in the Big Sky.
Wilkinson was also first in the 800 meters with a time of 2:13.06, and Sandra Aberg was second at 2:14.66, her best time this season.
WSU had many strong performances in the mile run, which converts to the 1,500 meters outdoor. Saga Hagelin posted a time of 4:50.16 in the mile invitational, which is number nine in the Big Sky this season. Laurie Murphy ran a seasonal best time of 4:57.32.
Hailey Low was first in the open mile run at 5:08.669 with Frances Hudson second at 5:10.09.
Devers had a seasonal best time of 12.04 in the 100 meters.
In the field events, Kapua Pulotu continued her strong season with a seasonal best in the shot put at 46-09.75. That mark is currently the sixth-best in the Big Sky this season.
Shannan Fonua had a seasonal best in the hammer throw at 172-00, which is the seventh-best in the conference this season.
Freshman Sarah Spangenberg posted a total of 4,358 points in the heptathlon, the fourth-best in the conference this season.
Stacia Barker had a seasonal best mark of 5-03.25 in the high jump.
