Weber State volleyball continues Big Sky Conference play this week with a road match against Idaho State before returning home to face Northern Colorado.
The Wildcats are coming off a split on the road, falling 3-1 to Utah Tech before bouncing back with a 3-1 win over Southern Utah. Weber State dropped the opening set against the Thunderbirds but responded to win three of the next four sets, including a close 28-26 finish in the fourth.
Weber State's defense played a key role in the victory, finishing with 11 total blocks. Ziya Munyer led the way at the net, recording five blocks and four kills. Her performance across the two matches also earned her Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week honors.
The Wildcats will look to carry that momentum into their matchup with Idaho State before returning to Swenson Gym to take on Northern Colorado. With conference play continuing, Weber State will look to build on its recent win and keep moving forward in Big Sky action.
Weber State enters the week with a 10-6 overall record and a 3-3 mark in conference play.
