Weber State volleyball is back on the road this week as the Wildcats continue Big Sky Conference play against Utah Tech and Southern Utah.
Weber State enters the week 9-5 overall and 2-2 in conference play after splitting two matches at home last week. The Wildcats opened the week with a 3-1 win over Portland State before falling 3-0 to Northern Arizona.
Weber State battled back from an opening-set loss against Portland State, winning the next three sets to take the match. The Wildcats finished the night strong, closing out the fourth set with a 7-3 run to secure the win.
Against Northern Arizona, Weber State battled throughout the match but fell in three sets. The Wildcats stayed within striking distance in each set, including pulling within one late in the third before the Lumberjacks closed out the match.
The Wildcats will look to get back in the win column as they return to the road for their next two conference matches. Weber State will face Utah Tech before traveling to Cedar City to take on Southern Utah.
With conference play underway, the Wildcats will look to pick up important road wins and continue moving forward in Big Sky play.
