Wildcats drop match to Aggies in Logan

Logan, UT — The Utah State Aggies defeated the Weber State Wildcats in a 7-0 decision on Sunday afternoon in Logan, Utah.
"We always seem to struggle in Logan, and today was no different." Head Coach Brad Ferriera said.
The Aggies clinched the doubles point by taking the matches in the #2 and #3 positions by scores of 6-4, 6-3, respectively. Ken Dinh and Theo Mottier went unfinished on Court #1.
The momentum continued into singles play for the Aggies, sweeping the Wildcats in all 6 matches. Dinh was able to force his match into a 3rd set tiebreaker before ultimately falling by a score of 1-6, 6-2, 1-6.
The 'Cats return to the court next Saturday, February 28th, as they will open Big Sky Conference play against the Sacramento State Hornets. The Hornets enter Saturday with a 5-4 mark on the season. The match will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Sacramento State Tennis Complex in Sacramento, California.
