‘Cats fall to #40 Santa Clara

Santa Clara, CA — The Weber State Wildcats fell on the road 7-0 to #40 Santa Clara Sunday afternoon.

"Team is #40 in the country," Head Coach Brad Ferreira said, "Theo and Dawid put up a good fight, but other than that we were outmanned."

The Broncos clinched the doubles point by taking the match on Court #1 6-1, and won on Court #2 6-2 to take a 1-0 lead heading into singles play.

The momentum continued into singles play for the Broncos, sweeping all 6 singles matches.

The Wildcats will next take the court on Saturday, March 14th when they will take on the University of Nevada Reno in Reno, Nevada. The Wolfpack currently hold a 4-2 record on the season.
