Wolfpack top ‘Cats in Reno

Reno, NV — The Weber State Wildcats were swept on the road, falling 7-0 to the Nevada Wolfpack.
Nevada clinched doubles by taking positions #2 and #3 by scores of 6-1 and 6-2, respectively. Samuel Battistone and Theo Mottier went unfinished on Court #1.
In singles, the Wildcats fell in all 6 match-ups. Clement Lecoq was the only Wildcat able to force a third set on the day, where he ultimately fell 7-6 (7-5), 4-6, 10-8.
Weber State will, finally, have its home opener next Sunday, March 22nd, when they take on the Portland State Vikings. The Vikings will enter Sunday with a 5-9 mark on the season and a 1-1 record in Big Sky play.
It will be the second conference match of the season for the Wildcats after falling to Sacramento State in a 5-2 result on February 28th. The match against the Vikings will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Ogden Athletic Club.
