‘Cats fall to Jacks at home

Ogden, UT — The Northern Arizona Lumberjacks defeated the Wildcats 6-1 in Ogden, UT on Saturday afternoon.
Weber State fell in doubles, dropping the matches on Courts #2 and #3 by scores of 6-4 and 6-3, respectively. Ken Dinh and Dawid Scholtz went unfinished on Court #1.
The Lumberjacks continued their momentum into singles play, taking five of the six matches. Dawid Scholtz got the Wildcats on the board as he battled back to take his singles match in a third-set tiebreaker. The win was the fourth of the year for Scholtz.
Next for the Wildcats is a road trip up north to Montana. The 'Cats will open with a match against the 9-6 Montana Grizzlies in Missoula on Friday, April 3rd. The Grizzlies enter Friday on a 5-match winning streak and have opened 2-0 in conference play.
Following that match, the Wildcats will head across The Great Divide to Bozeman, where they will challenge the Montana State Bobcats on Sunday, April 5th.
