Griz defeat Wildcats in Missoula

Missoula, MT — The Montana Grizzlies defeated the Weber State Wildcats 5-2 in Missoula, Montana, on Friday.
"Dawid Scholtz and William Zulch played well," Head Coach Brad Ferreira said. "Montana is tough, especially in Missoula."
Weber State was swept in doubles play, falling 6-1 in the #3 position and 6-4 in the #2 position. Ken Dinh and Dawid Scholtz went unfinished on Court #1.
In singles, William Zulch stayed hot, winning his second consecutive conference singles match after battling back from dropping the opening frame. Zulch took his match on Court #6, 3-6, 6-3, 10-8.
Scholtz also took his match in three sets, winning in the #3 position 6-3, 5-7, 11-9. The two singles wins resulted in the 5-2 final score for the day.
The Wildcats will now head across The Great Divide to Bozeman, where they will challenge the Montana State Bobcats on Sunday, April 5th.
The Bobcats enter Sunday with a 5-10 mark on the season and a 1-2 record so far in Big Sky Conference play.
