Matadors top Wildcats in Fresno

Fresno, CA — The Weber State Wildcats women's tennis team fell on the road to the California State Northridge Matadors 4-0 in a neutral site matchup in Fresno, CA.
The Matadors swept doubles play, taking the #1 position 6-1 and the #2 contest 6-3 to give CSUN a 1-0 lead heading into singles play. Paulina Aleksandrowicz and Nataly Valdivia Rojas went unfinished on Court #3.
In singles, the Matadors continued their momentum, taking all 3 singles matches that went to completion on Saturday. Jessica Hill and Naomi Johnson went the full three-set distance, but both went unfinished in their matches.
The 'Cats will close out their weekend in Fresno, taking on the local team, Fresno State University, on Sunday afternoon. The Bulldogs come into the weekend finale with a 6-4 mark on the season.
