Wilson and Anderson Earn All-Big Sky Honors

LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. – The Big Sky Conference office has released the results of its 2025-26 Men's Golf All-Conference Team, highlighting the league's best one day before the championship tournament begins, and Weber State's duo of Matthew Wilson and Ty Anderson each earned honors.
Wilson earned All-Big Sky Conference First Team honors after posting a team-best 72.5 stroke average and a national ranking of 565. He finished in the top-20 in five of the team's eight tournaments this season, all of which were in the top-8. He was the individual medalist at the Dolenc Invitational at Gateway National Golf Links in Madison, Ill. and earned four Big Sky Golfer of the Week honors across a four tournament stretch for Weber State.
Anderson was named All-Big Sky Honorable Mention after recording a 73.7 stroke average and ranking 1,129th nationally. He finished in the top-20 four times during the season, with a season-best 8th place finish coming in Weber State's most recent outing, the Shark Invitational at Nassau Country Club in Glen Cove, N.Y.
Idaho's Josh McCartain has been named Big Sky Player of the Year, while Eastern Washington's Cal Anderson was named Freshman of the Year.
The Wildcats begin the Big Sky Championship tournament tomorrow morning at Wigwam Golf Club.
