Wildcats and Utes will kickoff at 7 p.m. in Salt Lake City. Match will be on ESPN+
Weber State soccer opens its 2026 campaign on Wednesday as the Wildcats travel to Salt Lake City to take on the University of Utah.
The Wildcats enter the season coming off a strong 6-1 exhibition victory over Salt Lake Community College on Aug. 8th. Weber State will look to carry that momentum into its season opener against the Utes.
Wednesday's match is set for 7 p.m. in Salt Lake City. The match will be streamed on ESPN+, with live stats available at WeberStateSports.com.
Weber State enters the 2026 season as the No. 1 preseason selection in the Big Sky Conference. Four Wildcats were also named to the Big Sky preseason All-Conference team, giving Weber State one of the conference's most highly regarded groups heading into the season.
Head coach Kyle Christensen returns for his second season over the Wildcats after earning Big Sky Coach of the Year honors in his first season with the program. Christensen and the Wildcats will look to build on last season's success as they begin their 2026 campaign.
The Wildcats will play 10 regular-season matches at home this season, giving fans plenty of opportunities to see Weber State soccer at Wildcat Soccer Field.
The regular season home opener will be on Sunday, August 16, against Boise State.Â
