Wildcat volleyball hosts two exhibitions before the begin season

Weber State volleyball fans will get their first look at the 2026 Wildcats with a pair of exhibition matches at the Swenson Gym.

The Wildcats will host Westminster on Friday, Aug. 21, at 6 p.m. Weber State will then hold its annual Purple and White Scrimmage on Monday, Aug. 24, at 6 p.m.

Admission is free for both matches.

There will be no streaming for either match, but live stats will be available at WeberStateSports.com.

The 'Cats opened the exhibition season last Saturday in a 3-1 loss at Utah.

Weber State returns several players from last season's team, including senior Rose Moore, who was recently named to the Big Sky Preseason All-Conference Team after earning first-team All-Big Sky honors in 2025.

Head coach Jeremiah Larsen returns for his 12th season with the Wildcats.

Weber State opens the regular season August 28-30, hosting the Wildcat Invitational. WSU will play San Francisco, San Jose State, and Belmont in the tournament.

During the regular season, the 'Cats will also host Utah State and BYU, before a full Big Sky schedule.
