'Cats Return Home to Host Portland State and Northern Arizona

Weber State volleyball returns to Swenson Gym this week as the Wildcats host Portland State and Northern Arizona in a pair of Big Sky Conference matchups.
The Wildcats enter the weekend with an 8-4 overall record and a 1-1 mark in conference play after splitting their opening two Big Sky matches on the road last week.
Weber State opened conference play with a 3-1 loss at Eastern Washington before bouncing back against Idaho. The Wildcats dropped a tight opening set against the Vandals before responding with three straight set victories to earn a 3-1 road win.
The victory gave Weber State its first conference win of the season and provided momentum heading into its return home.
Now, the Wildcats will look to carry that momentum into Swenson Gym for their first home conference matches of the season. Weber State will face Portland State before closing out the weekend against Northern Arizona.
The Wildcats have continued to build throughout the season and will look to use the home crowd to their advantage as Big Sky play continues.
Weber State hosts Portland State Thursday at 6 p.m. at Swenson Gym before taking on Northern Arizona Saturday at 1Â p.m.Â
