As a Sophomore in 2011
• Made 19 appearances on the mound, with 14 starts for the Wildcats.
• Finished 2-6 overall with 6.63 ERA, and had 22 strikeouts in 50.2 innings.
• Batted .154, going 2-of-12, with an RBI triple and a run scored.
As a Freshman in 2010
• Made 25 appearances for the Wildcats, starting nine games.
• Went 1-9 in the circle with a 9.41 ERA and 23 Strikeouts.
• Batted .174 with three runs scored and a single RBI.
• Earned her lone win in the final game of the season in an 8-2 win over Idaho State. Allowed two runs on only two hits over 5 innings for the victory.
During her Prep Career
• Was a three-time letterwinner in softball for Fremont High School, and also lettered twice in basketball.
• Helped lead the Silver Wolves to the 2008 Region-1 championship, posting an 11-1 record and the lowest ERA in the region at 1.39, while batting .368.
• Was named to the Standard Examiner All-Area Second Team in 2007 and was a 2008 All-State Honorable Mention.
• As a seniro, she posted an 8-4 record with 112 strikeouts in 85 innings pitched and a 0.66 ERA. At the plate, she batted .378 with one home run and 14 RBI.
• Was named Academic All-Region and Academic All-State for the 2009 season.
• Played her club softball with Utah Storm, which she helped to the U16 2006 Triple Crown World Series championship.
Personal
• Is the daughter of Derek and Jodie DeVries.
• Birthday is Sept. 26.
• Is the fourth of five children.
• Siblings are Amber (27), Christin (27), Kellie (25) and Scott (17).
• Entered Weber State with a 3.95 High School GPA.
• Is intending to go into the medical field.
