As a Senior in 2016

  • Started all 56 games for the Wildcats at shortstop.
  • Batted a school-record .422.
  • Recorded 70 hits, including 19 doubles and eight home runs, and had 59 RBI.
  • Also reached base 35 times on walks and HBPs for a .505 on-base percentage.
  • Scored 36 runs.

As a Junior in 2015

  • Started all 57 games for the Wildcats.
  • Became the first player in Weber State history to bat above .400 as she finished the season at .405.
  • Recorded 68 hits, the second most in team history in a season. 
  • Had 38 RBI, 12 doubles, four home runs, and scored 38 runs.
  • Had a .548 slugging percentage, and a .490 on-base percentage. Was walked 28 times and hit by pitch three times.

As a Freshman/Sophomore in 2013-14 (Southern Idaho)

  • Was a two-year collegiate letter winner at CSI in Twin Falls, Idaho.
  • Was a second-team NJCAA All-American as a sophomore and a third-team NJCAA All-American as a freshman. 
  • Led CSI with a .558 batting average, recording 106 hits and 94 RBI as a sophomore.
  • Batted .424 with 86 hits and 67 RBI as a freshman.
  • Led CSI to a combined 96-28 overall record during the two years.

During her Prep/Club career

  • Graduated from Mesa High School in Mesa, Ariz., in 2012.
  • Was a four-year letter winner in softball and basketball at Mesa.
  • Was named first-team All-State as a senior, and was All-Region in as freshman, sophomore and junior.
  • Played her club softball for Killer Bees. 

Personal

  • Was born on Dec. 23 in Phoenix, Ariz.
  • Parents are Joseph and Tamara Whitmer.
  • Has for siblings: Trisha Danielson, Staci Ortega, Nathan Whitmer, and Sierra Whitmer. Twin sister Sierra is also a member of the Wildcats.
  • Intends to major in Psychology.
