Played two seasons of football at Snow Junior College where he played for coach Tyler Hughes.

Provo High School
Graduated from Provo High School in 2009...Played football and track and field where he was a top javelin thrower...Set the school record in the javelin and was a two-time state champion in the event...Also accidently hit someone with the javelin during the state meet but still managed to win state title.
