2011 (Senior)
Gabe started in the first two games of the season before breaking his arm that forced him to miss the rest of the season...Recorded three tackles in the two games with two coming at Wyoming and one at Utah State.

2010 (Junior)
Played in all 11 games and started in eight games at the defensive end position for the Wildcats during the season...Led Weber State and ranked 17th in the Big Sky in with 3.5 quarterback sacks during the season...Had 1.5 sacks at Idaho State and also recorded a sack at home against Northern Colorado and at Sacramento State...Recorded 23 total tackles on the year with 14 assisted and nine unassisted...Had four total tackles in three games during the year...Also recorded four tackles for loss...Had one forced fumble during the season...Was named to the Big Sky Academic All-Conference Team.

2009 (Sophomore)
Saw action in all 12 games, recording 19 total tackles (5 unassisted)...Had a quarterback sack for minus four yards at Portland State...Had a single-game best of four total tackles at Wyoming and at home vs. Cal Poly.

2008 (Freshman)
Played in 13 games and had four unassisted tackles during the championship season for the Wildcats.

Played for Coach Tom Cushing at Brighton HS where he helped the Bengals to a 12-1 record in 2004...Had 80 total tackles and 11 quarterback sacks his senior season...Named First Team Class 5A by the Deseret News and Salt Lake Tribune.

Full name is Gabriel Bowers...Was born on October 2, 1986...Originally signed with the Wildcats in February of 2005 but served an LDS Church mission to San Francisco before enrolling in school...Is majoring in Political Science at Weber State...Is a serious Star Trek fan who says he speaks fluent Klingon and is well versed in the uses of the Vulcan Death Grip.
