Earned 12 letters in cross country, indoor, and outdoor track. His high school team won the 2011 Wyoming state 4-A championship, and was the runner-up in 2012, 2013, and 2014. Earned All-State and All-Conference honors in track and cross country all four years. Ran a PR in the 1600 of 4:17.78 at the Arcadia Invitational. Finished 3rd place in the 1600m at the 2015 Wyoming State Indoor Championships. Finished 2nd place at the 2014 Wyoming State Cross Country Championships.
