Peter Visser set to contend in NCAA Championships

Peter Visser is primed to compete in the NCAA Cross Country Championships in Columbia, Missouri on November 22.
The 10k race will take place at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course and will start at 9:10 a.m. (MT).Â
Visser posted a time of 23:23.2 on the Gans Creek 8k course earlier this season. He placed 50th in the group the Wildcats competed in.
He qualified for the championships after a top-10 finish at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships. Visser placed 8th with a time of 30:13.1 to qualify for the third straight year. He is the first Wildcat in team history to ever qualify individually three times.Â
The race will be streamed on ESPNU.Â
Visser recorded a 126th place finish at the 2024 championships and 150th at the 2023 championships.
