As a Freshman in 2008-09: Karlie was one of three freshmen to start nearly every match for the Wildcats... She produced a team-best 19 wins, going 11-9 in singles and 8-10 in doubles... Played most of her singles matches at the No. 5 position in the lineup, recording an 11-8 record... Was 0-1 in a single outing at No. 4... Played her doubles matches alongside Elsje Beneke, going 8-8 at No. 3 and 0-2 at No. 2... Finished the season winning 10 of her final 14 singles matches and went 5-2 in Big Sky singles play.

During her Prep Career: Karlie is a 2008 graduate of Pine View High School in St. George, Utah, where she lettered four times in Tennis (2005-2008), and once in both Basketball and Softball (2005)... Helped the Panthers to the 3A State Tennis Championship in 2005, 2006 and 2007 and to the 2008 4A State Championship... Played on the 2006 Tennis Zonals All-Star team.

Personal: Birthday is July 16... Is the daughter of Clark and Dezlee Hancock... Is the second of four children... Siblings are Wes (21), Abbey (15) and Lacey (11)... Is related to former LDS Church President David O. McKay... Intends to major in Nursing at WSU and hopes to do some nursing work at a children's hospital abroad following her graduation.
