'Cats Drop Match Against USU

LOGAN, Utah --The Weber State men's tennis team fell to 5-5 on the season Friday as Utah State took a 5-2 decision to end a five-game winning streak by the 'Cats.
The Aggies took the doubles point behind wins at the No. 1 and 3 positions. Henning Hipp and Travis Covington won for Weber State at No. 2 with a 8-7 win over Amit Maharaj and Alex Thatcher.
In Singles, the Wildcats dropped four of six matches. Simon Unger won for the 'Cats at No. 2, defeating Bryan Marchant 6-0, 6-3, while Henning Hipp downed Maharaj at No. 3 by a 7-6, 6-2 score.
