MOSCOW, Idaho -- The Weber State women's soccer team ended a seven-match road swing with its fifth-consecutive loss on Sunday as the Wildcats fell to the University of Idaho 1-0.

The 'Cats failed to score, despite posting 16 shots, the team's second-highest single match total of the year. The Vandals outshot WSU 23-16 on the day and put seven shots on-goal, compared to five by Weber State.

Idaho's Jill Flockhart scored her third goal of the season, evading a Wildcat defender and beating WSU goalkeeper Rebecca Ritchie with a shot from 12-yards out for the game-winner.

Ritchie posted seven saves in the match, but was not helped out by her offense, who failed to score for just the second time this season. The Wildcats were also shutout in their previous outing, a 4-0 loss to No. 28 Washington State.

The Wildcats will return home to face the University of Oregon on Oct. 3. They will then open up the Big Sky portion of the schedule.
