WSU Falls to Utah State 7-0

LOGAN, Utah -- The Weber State women's tennis team fell to 1-5 on the season on Wednesday with a 7-0 loss to Utah State at the Sports Academy and Racquet Club.
The Aggies took all three doubles matches and all six singles matches for a clean sweep of the Wildcats. Elsje Beneke and Brittiny Moore each played strong in singles, but fell in three-set matches.
Keya Jenkins and Markay Mullen came close in the No. 3 doubles match, but fell in a tiebreak as Britney Watts and Taylor Perry claimed an 8-7 win with an 8-6 tiebreak advantage.
The Wildcats will be back in action on Feb. 21 as they host North Dakota at 10:00 a.m. at the Ogden Athletic Club.
