Ariel Whiteman then drew a bases-loaded walk to force in Hardine for the first run. Aubri Chiquete drove in the second run on a groundout, and Brandi Christopher completed the rally with a two RBI single.
In the second game, BSU took the lead with two runs in the second inning, but the 'Cats responded with a pair in the top of the third. Genasee Aman drew a leadoff walk, and Hardine hit a two-run homer with two outs.
Boise State added another run in the third to retake the lead, and put the game away with two runs in the fourth, and three in both the fifth and sixth.
