Wildcat softball places three on 2026 CSC Academic All-District Team

Weber State softball placed three student-athletes on the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
The award recognizes student-athletes who maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and compete in 90 percent of the institution's games, or who start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings.
Jordan McMahon, a sophomore from Phoenix, Arizona, played and started in all 56 games, recording 73 hits in 189 at-bats for a .386 batting average. She finished the season with 33 runs scored, three doubles, five triples and nine RBI, while totaling 120 putouts, four assists and five errors for a .961 fielding percentage. She led Weber State in batting average, triples, total bases, hits and stolen bases, and ranked first in the Big Sky Conference in hits, triples and at-bats while placing fifth in batting average. She earned All-Big Sky Second Team honors and surpassed 100 career hits in the Wildcats' game against Montana.
Apollonia Maldonado, a sophomore from Antioch, California, played in 53 games with 48 starts, recording 46 hits in 133 at-bats for a .346 batting average. She totaled 11 runs scored, eight doubles, eight home runs and 42 RBI, while adding 161 putouts, 14 assists and just two errors for a .989 fielding percentage. She led the Wildcats in slugging percentage, RBI, home runs and putouts, and ranked fifth in the Big Sky Conference in RBI and ninth in home runs. Defensively, she ranked fourth in the conference in fielding percentage and eighth in putouts. She also earned Big Sky Honorable Mention honors.
Jordan Hart, a sophomore from Surprise, played in 42 games and made 28 starts for the Wildcats. She recorded her first career home run against Idaho State and also totaled 24 hits, 11 runs scored, two doubles and five RBI. Defensively, she totaled 82 putouts, 15 assists and three errors for a .970 fielding percentage and earned Big Sky Conference Honorable Mention honors.
