OGDEN, Utah -- A pair of late goals proved costly for the Wildcats as Idaho rallied to take a 2-1 double overtime win on Tuesday at Wildcat Soccer Field.

The 'Cats took the early lead as Felicia Sortor scored her second goal of the season in the 17th minute. The freshman striker took a Jessie Baddley cross from the right wing and headed it home past Idaho goalkeeper Liz Boyden.

Weber State held the lead until the waning moments of the first half, when Idaho tallied on the second of consecutive corner kicks. Nitalia Zuniga put away a five-yard shot on the second try from the flag with only three seconds remaining in the period.

Early in the second half, the match was delayed for 33 minutes due to lightning in the area. Once play resumed, the Wildcats generated more scoring chances, outshooting the Vandals 11-6 in the period, but was unable to find the winning goal.

After a scoreless first overtime period, Idaho ended the match in the 105th minute as Christina Boddie put away a cross from Erica Hart, sending the Wildcats to 0-7-0 on the season. With the win, Idaho improved to 5-2-0 on the year.

Alyson Hansen recorded four saves for the Wildcats, while Boyden made six stops in goal for Idaho.

The Wildcats now will head out on a four-game road swing, which begins with two matches in California this weekend. WSU will face UC Santa Barbara on Friday, Sep. 17 at 7:00 p.m. MST, and then will take on Cal Poly on Sunday, Sep. 19 at Noon.
