Aggies Take Down Wildcats 5-2

LOGAN, Utah --Weber State's three-match winning streak came to an end on Tuesday, as Utah State took a 5-2 win over the Wildcats.
The Aggies swept the doubles matches and took the top four singles matches for the win. Kristi Russell and Nittaya Phonharath each won for the Wildcats in singles to produce the two points for Weber State.
Russell won her opening set 6-2 in the No. 5 match, but Julie Tukuafu rallied with a 6-0 second set win to force a tiebreak third set. Russell took the tiebreak with a 10-7 advantage for the match win.
Phonharath won in straight-sets at the No. 6 position for Weber State, taking down Brianna Harris 7-6, 6-4.
