"We were a little slow at first and had to adjust to what Northern Arizona threw at us and I give them a lot of credit," said WSU head coach Randy Rahe. "We were able to catch up to their speed in the second half. We were more patient and played much better and finished the game really well."
Weber State shot 56 percent from the field, compared to 52 percent for the Lumberjacks. The 'Cats improve to 13-0 this season when leading their opponent in field goal percentage. WSU also outrebounded NAU 29-25 and improved to 9-0 when scoring 80 or more points this season.
