Hornets Pull Off Clean Sweep of Weber State

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The Weber State women's tennis team dropped its second-straight Big Sky Conference match, and 10th overall, on Friday with a 7-0 loss to Sacramento State at the Rio Del Oro Racquet Club.
The Hornets took all three doubles matches to open the day, and then completed the sweep with a dominating performance in singles play, taking all six matches in straight sets.
Sacramento State, ranked 43rd in the nation, moved to 5-3 overall on the season, and won its second Big Sky match in-as-many matches.
The Wildcats will face UC Davis on Saturday, Feb. 25 as the finale of their two-match road swing. They will then return home to face Seattle on Mar. 2, which kicks off a seven-match home stand.
