OGDEN, Utah -- Weber State had all five scoring players beat their Idaho State counterparts, as the Wildcats dominated the Bengals 305 to 345 in a dual match on Thursday at the Ogden Golf & Country Club.
"We had some really good rounds out there today," said WSU head coach Jeff Smith. "This was a good chance to get some competitive golf in with the conference tournament coming up."
Kelsey Chugg tied with ISU's Annie Norman for the individual medalist title, after shooting an even-par 72. Norman's great round didn't help the Bengals' team effort on the day, as she played as an individual and did not count to the team score.
Weber State placed the next four players on the leaderboard in Courtney Smith (76), Sara Federico (78), Jordan Ulibarri (79), and Alli Cluff (83).
The best the Bengal scoring team would produce would be Jenna Sharp's 83, which tied Cluff's 83 for sixth place overall.
