In all, Weber State finished with seven extra base hits, including five doubles, a triple, and a home run, earning its second doubleheader sweep in the last five days. The Wildcats (6-21 overall, 2-1 Big Sky) have won four of their past five games heading into a key Big Sky series with league tri-leader Portland State on Friday and Saturday at Wildcat Softball Field.

Weber State stormed out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning of the opening game, with Silva hitting the home run to get things going. After Cunningham and Barrios single, Ford hit a two RBI double that made it 3-0, before scoring on an error by second base.

Silva hit an RBI single to left field in the second inning to score senior outfielder London Clarke, making it 5-0, and then the Wildcats added two more in the fourth to make a 7-0 lead.

In the second game, Weber State scored eight runs in the final two innings to earn the run-rule victory after Great Falls had rallied to tie the game up at 4-4 in the top of the fifth.

The Wildcats took a 1-0 lead after Kulp doubled, then stole third, and scored on an error by the Argos' catcher.

Great Falls tied it up at 1-1 on a home run in the second, with the Wildcats going ahead 3-1 again after Kulp hit a two RBI single to center field. The Argos scored twice in the top half of the fifth to make it 4-4, but it didn't stay that way for long as Ford hit a three RBI triple to left field, followed by Kubo who doubled down the left field line to make it 8-4.

After putting the Argos down quickly in the sixth, the Wildcats loaded the bases with one out, scoring on a walk by Barrios and then Ford came up, blasting a double to center field that scored two runs, making it 11-4. Kubo ended the game with an RBI single, scoring Barrios from third base for the final eight-run margin.
