WSU Falls to Loyola Marymount 5-2

OGDEN, Utah -- The Weber State men's tennis team stepped out of conference play on Saturday and suffered a 5-2 loss to a tough Loyola Marymount squad at Edman Courts.

The Lions swept all three doubles matches and then won four times in singles to secure the win.

Todd Fought and Sanjay Goswami each won in singles for the Wildcats, producing the team's two points on the day.

Fought pulled out a 7-5, 4-6, 1-0 (10-7) three set win over David Doehring in the No. 1 singles spot, while Goswami defeated Luke Bohuslav 7-5, 6-1 in the No. 5 match.

The Wildcats will jump right back into the Big Sky schedule as they are scheduled to take on Montana State in Ogden on Sunday, March 30 at 9:00 a.m.
