PORTLAND -- Jeremy Senglin's 3-pointer with under a second left in regulation sent the game to overtime and Weber State pulled out a 92-82 win over the University of Portland Friday night at the Moda Center.

The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Weber State (6-5) as the Wildcats won their final non-conference game away from home.

The Wildcats led 36-29 at halftime and led by as many as 12 in the second half. The 'Cats were up by seven with 7:32 to play when Portland went on a 9-1 run and took the lead for the first time with 5:09 to play.

Weber State led by four with 2:30 to play when the Pilots scored seven straight points. UP led by three when Senglin knocked down a long 3-pointer with 0.8 seconds left to send the game to overtime.

After Portland went up by three early in the extra period, Weber State went on a 13-2 run over the next three minutes and never looked back. The 'Cats outscored Portland 19-9 in overtime.

“We needed this game tonight and it was a great win for our team,” said WSU head coach Randy Rahe. “We came out with a good edge tonight. Our first half defense was terrific and we played with a lot of energy. We let them back in the game in the second half but were able to find a way. We were terrific in overtime and were able to pull away.”

Weber State shot 49 percent from the field and held the Pilots to 38 percent shooting. The Wildcats made 11 3-pointers and outrebounded Portland 46-45. WSU also dished out 19 assists but did commit 16 turnovers.

All nine players who played scored for Weber State. Joel Bolomboy led the way with 18 points to go along with 17 rebounds for his nation-leading 10th double-double of the season. He also moved past 1,100 career points and now ranks 20th in scoring in Weber State history.

Sophomore Ryan Richardson came off the bench for a season-high 18 points. Richardson was 6-of-10 from the field, including 4-of-8 from 3-point range.
