Wildcat soccer suffers 3-0 loss to Eagles

CHENEY, Wash. – The Wildcats couldn't break through against the Eagles.
Eastern Washington's Chloe Williams scored twice and had an assist on the third goal as the Weber State University women's soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss to the Eagles on Sunday afternoon.
Weber State fell to 3-3-0 in Big Sky play, 5-7-1 overall, while Eastern Washington improved to 4-0-1 in league play (10-1-2 overall).
The Eagles took a 1-0 lead in the 18th minute and carried that advantage into the break. EWU made it 2-0 in the 58th minute and capped off the scoring in the 71st minute.
Weber State will return to action on Friday when it hosts the first night match in Wildcat soccer history against league-leading Idaho. Kickoff at Wildcat Soccer Field is set for 7 p.m.
