Weber State falls 7-0 to Utah

SALT LAKE CITY - The Weber State women's tennis team is still looking for their first win of the season after falling to  University of the Utah 7-0 Saturday night. Â
Utah started off claiming all two doubles matches followed, the third did not finish. Â The Utes also claimed all six singles competitions. All of the Wildcats fought hard in the second sets of thier matches but couldn't come out victorious.Â
"Agata played extremely well and was unlucky to lose," Director of Tennis Brad Ferreira said. "Everyone else starte very slowly but played very solid second sets. The efforts and play from everyone was better than the previous match."
Agata Bachanek's match in singles play went into two tiebreaker sets. Bachanek's scores in the No. 1 spot were 6-7 (10), 6-3, 1-0 (4).Â
Weber State is now 0-6 on the season. The first  home match for Weber State will  be Sunday Feb. 14 against Iowa State. The Wildcats will start Big Sky Conference play on Feb. 20 against North Dakota.
