Weber State takes down North Dakota 6-1

GRAND FORKS, ND - Weber State men's tennis team took down North Dakaota Saturday afternoon 6-1 in the land of the Fighting Hawks.
Weber State started the day off strong sweeping the doubles point. In the No. 1 spot Sanjay Goswami and Stefan Cooper defeated David Bergstrom and Tavis Lau 7-5. Todd Fought and Jakub Gewert also had a great match taking down Connor Oberle and Matt Hokanson 6-4.
he team of Landon Barlow and Hou-En Chen picked up their third consecutive doubles win in the No. 3 spot taking down Joe Lee and Ty Misialek 6-1.
In singles play Fought took down, Oberle 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 2 spot. Cooper picked up his third consecutive win in the No. 3 spot defeating Misialek 7-6, 6-4.
In the No. 4 spot Chen's win went into three sets with scores of 6-1, 3-6, 6-1 over Lau. Barlow took down Lee in the No. 5 spot 6-2, 6-2.
Goswami also picked up a nice win today in the No. 6 spot taking down Eshan Varma 6-1, 6-1.
Weber State is now 3-4 overall on the season and 2-0 in Big Sky Conference play. The Wildcats will next travel to Portland, Ore. to take on University of Portland and Portland State. The next home match will be March 19 against Southern Utah.
