Wildcats pick up 5-2 win over Northern Colorado

The Weber State women's tennis team picked up it's second straight win taking down Northern Colorado 5-2 in a Big Sky Conference match up.Â
The match started off with a the Bears wining two of three doubles matches. Agata Bachanek and Devi Hasan had the one Wildcat victory in doubles play taking down Marissa Baca and Anna Battersby 6-1 in the No. 3 spot.Â
With Weber State at the disadvantage going into the singles round, the Wildcats needed to fin some success.Â
Bachanek defeated Beth Coton 6-2, 6-1 in the No. 1 spot. After losing the first set, Kristi Elmer won the second set and the tiebreaker to pick up a win in the No. 2 spot over Hilary Walters-West 5-7, 6-2, 10-3.
Sara Parker defeated Battersby 7-5, 6-3 in the No. 3 spot. Hasan took down Remi Immler 6-4, 6-3 in the No. 5 spot for her fifth consecutive win.Â
To bring the match to a close Morgan Dickason picked up a 6-1, 6-0 win in the No. 6 spot over Courtney Schulte.
Weber State is now 4-8 overall on the season and 3-1 in Big Sky Conference play. The Wildcats next head to Portland to take on Portland State before heading to Spokane, Wash. to take on Gongzaga in the final road trip up of the season.Â
