Wildcat cross country heads to Pre-Nationals

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Weber State University men's and women's cross country teams will run in their final non-conference race of the year on Saturday when they head to the 2017 NCAA Division I Pre-National Cross Country meet.
The races, hosted by Louisville at E.P. 'Tom' Sawyer State Park, begin at 8 a.m. MT with the men's 8K seeded race, followed by the women's 6K seeded race at 8:45 a.m. MT., and will feature many of the nation's elite teams.
Both Wildcats' squads will have seven runners in the seeded race, and one runner in the unseeded race. The men's unseeded race begins at 9:30 a.m., and the women's unseeded race gets underway at 10:15.
The meet will be streamed live on FloTrack.org.
Following this weekend's race, the Wildcats will have a bye week before preparing for the 2017 Big Sky Conference Championships, which will be hosted by Weber State at Riverside Golf Course on Oct. 28.
