Harding's 30 points leads Wildcats to 96-74 win

OGDEN - Jerrick Harding scored 30 points and three other Wildcats scored in double figures as Weber State opened a six-game homestand with a 96-74 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff Saturday night at the Dee Events Center.
Weber State led by 11 at halftime but the 'Cats opened the second half on a 33-12 run to blow the game open. WSU led by as many as 32 points in the second half.
The Wildcats shot 61 percent from the field, second-highest of the season, and was 11 of 22 from 3-point range. Weber State also outrebouned the Golden Lions 36-31 and had 22 assists on 31 field goals.
Harding had 18 of his 30 points in the second half, despite only playing eight minutes in the second half. He finished the game 9 of 13 shooting, including 4 of 5 from 3-point range, and was 8 of 9 from the free throw line. He also had two assists, two rebounds and one steal as he reached 30 points for the second time this season.
Ryan Richardson added 16 points and also knocked down four 3-pointers while Zach Braxton had 14 points on 5 of 6 shooting and Jordan Dallas added 10 points off the bench.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff dropped to 0-12 on the season. The Golden Lions are staring the season with their first 17 games away from home.
The win moves Weber State to 5-5 overall as the Wildcats play their next five games at home. WSU is now 4-0 at the Dee Events Center this season.
The Wildcats return to action Tuesday, Dec. 19 hosting Pepperdine at 7 p.m. at the Dee Events Center. The game will be televised on KJZZ TV.
