Wildcats hit the road to UND then UNC

TIP OFF
• Weber State women's basketball continues its 2017-18 season with one of the final two road trips of the year. Thursday, Feb. 8 the Wildcats will take on North Dakota at 6:00 p.m. MST.  Saturday Weber State will take on Northern Colorado at Noon MST.

ON THE HORIZON
• The Wildcats will have four of the final six games at home starting with Portland State Feb. 15 and Sacramento State Feb. 17.
• Weber State has just one final road trip before heading off to the Big Sky Conference tournament in Reno, Nev. The first is at North Dakota Feb. 8 and Northern Colorado Feb. 10.
WHAT'S GOOD?
• Weber State has an impressive 16-5 record and is sitting at No. 1 in the Big Sky Standings with an 8-2 record.
• Weber State is currently top 25 in the nation in five different areas and broke into the top 10 in 3FG average. Â

Larryn Brooks has hit double figures in all but one game this year. Her performances have put her high in national rankings. She currently sits at No. 36 in points per game averaging 19.8. In the 3-pointer category, she is No. 13 in threes made with 77 total, No. 8 in threes per game with 3.67 and No. 14 in attempts with 195 on the season. She also is No. 15 in the country in free throw percentage averaging 87.3.
DANDY DRAKE
In Weber State's two victories last weekend Drake was the top scorer averaging 15.5 points per game. Against Southern Utah, she had the game high of 14 points. Against Northern Arizona, Drake rocked a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. She recorded two offensive boards and nine defensive rebounds. She made three from beyond the arc for 37 percent. She went 6-15 from the field against the Thunderbirds for 40 percent from the field. Between the two games Drake was put on the free throw line five times and made all five free throws.
