Wildcats fall 6-1 to Eagles in last match of regular season

Weber State women's tennis competed in it's final regular match of the season Saturday afternoon and fell to Eastern Washington 6-1.
"Unfortunately we didn't play very well today," said head coach Mark Roberts. "Eastern Washington started well and never let up. A bit of a frustrating end to our regular season but the good news is we get a fresh new start next week at the Big Sky Conference tournament."
Weber State struggled in doubles action falling in the No. 1 and No. 3 spots. In singles play Eastern Washington tried to make a clean sweep of the entire match but Caitlin Herb came out with a victory in the No. 2 spot due to the Eagles retiring that spot.
Weber State has finished the 2018 regular season with a 10-13 overall record and are 5-6 in Big Sky play. WSU is headed to Phoenix, Ariz. to participate in the Big Sky Championships next weekend April 26-28.
