Big Sky first-place showdown at Sacramento State Saturday

THE GAME
• It's a top-10 nationally-ranked matchup and a Big Sky first-place showdown as No. 3 Weber State plays at No. 6 Sacramento State Saturday night.Â
• Saturday's game will kickoff at 6 p.m. Pacific time (7 p.m. MT) from Hornet Stadium in Sacramento. The game can be seen online on Pluto TV 533 or on WatchBigSky.com.Â
• Radio broadcast will be on 1430 KLO and kloradio.com with Steve Klauke and former Wildcat head coach and athletic director Jerry Graybeal calling the action.Â

• Weber State is 6-2 overall and 4-0 in Big Sky play after Saturday's 36-20 win at UC Davis. The Wildcats have won five-straight games.Â
• The Wildcats are ranked third in the nation in the latest polls, tied with last year for the highest ranking in school history. Â
• Sacramento State is also 6-2 overall and 4-0 in conference play. The Hornets are ranked sixth in the nation in this week's polls.Â
• The game features two teams ranked in the top six in the nation and the two teams currently in first place in the Big Sky standings.Â
• WSU's Trey Tuttle was named the Big Sky Player of the Week after tying a school record with five field goals in Saturday's win.Â
• Jay Hill is his sixth season as head coach of the Wildcats. Hill has a career record of 42-28 at Weber State. Hill is 31-13 in Big Sky games.Â
• Sacramento State is coached by Troy Taylor who is in his first season with the Hornets.Â
• Weber State has 11 straight and 23 of its last 25 games against Big Sky schools.
• This will be the 24th all-time meeting between the two teams with Weber State holding a 15-8 series lead. The Wildcats are 4-7 all-time in Sacramento. Â
• WSU has beaten the Hornets in four straight games.Â
