Wildcats hit the road to take on Washington

• The Weber State women's basketball team continue on with the 2019-20 season heading to the University of Washington to take on the Huskies.
• Tip off for the UW game will be Nov. 9 at 7:00 p.m.

• Weber State is coming off a 59-78 loss to Portland in the Wildcats' home opener.
• Weber State is currently 0-2 on the season.
• Weber State is returning three starters and lost two. WSU is also returning six letterwinners and lost two.
• The Wildcats are welcoming six new comers.
• The Wildcats were picked No. 2 in the Big Sky preseason polls.
• Head Coach Velaida Harris is in her second season leading the Wildcats and brought back assistant coach Amy Donovan and director of operatons Nate Levine. She also hired two new coaches this year, Anthony Turner and Robert Yonce.

• Weber State has two Wildcats averaging double figures so far this season.

TRUE FRESHMAN DEBUT
• Freshman Ula Chamberlin started her career as a collegiate athlete with a bang. She scored 15 points against No. 11 UCLA in the season opener. She went 5-10 from the field and 4-6 from the free throw line. She also had the game high with four assists.
QUEEN JAMES
• Sophomore Ciara James recorded a career high of 13 points against Portland last weekend. She was also one shy of a double as she had nine rebounds.
NOTHING GRAVE ABOUT IT
• Redshirt Junior Liz Graves put up impressive numbers against Portland with the game high of 15 points. After sitting out a season due to NCAA Transfer Rules Graves has come into a leadership role in her first year of action with the Wildcats.
