Weber State is coming off an 18-15 overall record and an 11-9 record in Big Sky play last season.

Weber State head coach Randy Rahe returns for his 14th season as head coach of the Wildcats. Rahe is the Weber State's and the Big Sky Conference's all-time leader in coaching victories with 266 career wins.

The Wildcats lost two seniors off last year's team but return eight players off last year's squad.

Also back is senior guard Cody John

Weber State welcomes two new transfers and five freshmen to this year's squad.

The Wildcats were picked to finish second in the Big Sky preseason media poll and third in the coaches poll.

Utah State was 28-7 last season and won the Mountain West and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. The Aggies opened this season with a 81-73 home win over Montana State on Tuesday.

This will be the 72nd all-time meeting between the two schools with Utah State holding a 43-28 series lead. The Aggies are 25-9 against WSU in Logan.
