Weber State returns home to take on Utah Valley

• The Weber State women's basketball team continues on with the 2019-20 season with a home game against Utah Valley.
• Tip off for the Utah Valley game will be Dec. 17 at 5:00 PM.

FAST BREAK
• Weber State is coming off a 77-47 loss to New Mexico State.
• Weber State is currently 1-6 on the season and on a two game losing streak.
• Weber State is returning three starters and lost two. WSU is also returning six letterwinners and lost two.
• The Wildcats are welcoming six new comers.
• The Wildcats were picked No. 11 in the Big Sky preseason polls.
• Head Coach Velaida Harris is in her second season leading the Wildcats and brought back assistant coach Amy Donovan and director of operatons Nate Levine. She also hired two new coaches this year, Anthony Turner and Robert Yonce.
SEASON OPENERS
• The Wildcats are now 24-21 in season openers in school history.
• Weber State snapped a six game winning streak in season openers with the loss to UCLA.
• Weber State started the season on the road for the first time since 2013.
• WSU is has a 4-13 record in the openers on the road.
DOUBLE FIGURES AVERAGE
• Weber State has just one Wildcat averaging double figures so far this season.
• Ula Chamberlin - 12.0 ppg
• Liz Graves - 11.4 ppg
TRUE FRESHMAN DEBUT
• Freshman Ula Chamberlin started her career as a collegiate athlete with a bang. She scored 15 points against No. 11 UCLA in the season opener. She went 5-10 from the field and 4-6 from the free throw line. She also had the game high with four assists. She also went off and dropped 20 points against UC Riverside.
NOTHING GRAVE ABOUT IT
• Redshirt Junior Liz Graves has continued to show her strength on the court recording double digits five of WSU's seven games. She's also hit double digits in the last four consecutive games.
Queen James
• Sophomore Ciara James leads Weber State in rebounding averages as she pulls down 7.1 boards per game. She's also pulled down nine on two separate occasions.
