'Cats pick up 109-62 home win over Bethesda

OGDEN - Four Wildcats scored in double figures as Weber State rolled to a 109-62 win over Bethesda Tuesday night at the Dee Events Center.Â

Weber State shot 59 percent from the field and knocked down 13 3-pointers and all 12 Wildcats that played scored in the game.Â

The Wildcats never trailed in the game but led 19-13 with 11:12 to play in the first half. That's when WSU went on an 18-0 run to take control of the game. The 'Cats led 47-22 at halftime.Â

WSU started the second half on a 22-7 run over the first six minutes and never looked back. The 'Cats led by as many as 52, before the 47-point win.Â

The Wildcats were 13 of 27 from 3-point range and shot 67 percent from the field in the second half. WSU outrebounded the Flames 42-21. WSU also had 23 assists and eight steals.Â

Jerrick Harding led the Wildcats with 22 points in 16 minutes of play. He was 9 of 11 from the field, including 4 of 6 from 3-point range, to go along with three assists.

Cody John added 17 points with four rebounds and became the 36th player in Weber State history to reach 1,000 career points.Â

Dima Zdor added a season-high 14 points and grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds for his first double-double. Kham Davis had 12 points and six rebounds on 4 of 5 shooting.Â

Weber State improves to 4-6 on the season and has won three of the last four games. The Wildcats are back on the road Saturday at 7 p.m. at BYU in the final non-conference game of the season.Â
