Wildcats close out non-conference season at BYU Saturday

GAME INFORMATION
  Weber State closes out the non-conference season when the Wildcats hit the road at BYU Saturday night in Provo. Â
The game will begin at 7 p.m. from the Marriott Center in Provo and will be televised live on BYUtv and byutv.org with Dave McCann and Blaine Fowler calling the action.Â
Radio broadcast will be on 1430 KLO and kloradio.com, immediately following the WSU football game. Tony Parks and former Weber State standout and Big Sky MVP and David Patten will call the action. Live stats available at WeberStateSports.com.Â
OPENING TIPÂ
• Weber State is 4-6 on the season. The Wildcats have won three of their last four games, including a 109-62 win over Bethesda Tuesday night.Â
• Senior Jerrick Harding led the 'Cats with 22 points in Tuesday's win. He leads the Big Sky in scoring at 20 points per game.Â
• BYU is 9-4 on the season and has won three-straight and four of their last five games. The Cougars are coached by Mark Pope who is in his first season at BYU.
• This is WSU's fourth game against an in-state team this season.Â
• Senior Cody John scored 17 points in Tuesday's win and in the process became the 36th player in WSU history to reach 1,000 career points.Â
• This will be the 45th all-time meeting between the two schools. The Wildcats beat BYU 113-103 in Ogden last year.Â
• BYU is a perfect 21-0 against the Wildcats in Provo.Â
• After Saturday, the Wildcats will open the 20-game Big Sky Conference season, beginning Dec. 28 at home against Eastern Washington.Â
