OGDEN, Utah - Weber State University's women's tennis team fell 2-5 to Idaho in the first Big Sky Conference match of the season Sunday morning at the Ogden Athletic Club.
"Congratulations to Idaho on a well played match today," head coach Mark Roberts said. "We did a great job winning doubles and just didn't quite play well enough to win more singles. I look forward to getting back out to practice on Tuesday."
Weber State clinched the doubles point from victories on the No. 3 and No. 2 courts to give them an early 1-0 lead over the Vandals. The No.3 and No.2 duos went 2-0 on the weekend.
In singles play, Lombardi picked up Weber's second match point to go undefeated 4-0 on the weekend.
